Hi, I'm Cailin (pronounced Kay-lynn)I am a photographer focused on capturing natural, confident, and effortless moments. I especially want to help people who feel awkward in front of a camera. I'll guide you and make sure that both our goals are met!I am also a published children's book author and a former contestant in Miss NJ USA, which both really shaped my love of storytelling and connection.I may look sweet, but my music taste says otherwise. While I love The Beach Boys, I am just as likely to play Metallica. Don't worry, I will not subject you to my favorite artists!At the end of the day, I am here to create photos and memories that you will love.

What camera do you use?I use a Canon Rebel T7 with a 50mm lens, which is closest to human eyesight, and a 16-35mm lens as my primary lenses for photoshoots.What is your pricing like?Generally, I have a starting price of $75, typically for a mini session or a sale. For specifics, please feel free to email, and I will be happy to let you know what my price is for the type of shoot you would like to do.What days are you available?I do photoshoots on Sundays and WednesdaysHow do I book?I book through email, which can be done on this website by clicking the Book button above or on the home page. Clicking that button you fill out your email and what you would like to ask or what you would like to book and it will send it to me via email. My email is : [email protected].
When will I get my photos back?Depending on the shoot it could be anywhere from 3-4 days for a mini or 1-2 weeks for a large shoot. I will let you know at the end of your photoshoot when I expect them to be done.Will you be editing and retouching my photos?Yes, unless you specifically mention not to edit the photos, I will be lightly editing at the very least. I bring the photos to life and retouch to get all the photos to match each other. The lighting changes in every different location and direction, so an unedited photo may look dark compared to one taken 5 feet in the opposite direction. I get rid of random objects and uneven textures that may look unappealing. If something looks off to you, I allow one revision of edits after sending.How do you send photos?I send it via Google Drive as of right now. In this drive, you will find your contract as well as a guide to downloading.Do I own my photos?Yes, and no, the full rights to the photos are available to purchase. Your photoshoot will include the personal rights to your photos, so you can get them printed at places like Walgreens, hang them in your house, post them on social media for your family to see, use them for party invitations, etc. I own the commercial rights, meaning that you cannot use them in newspaper ads, promotional photos, etc. You also do not need to credit me in any posts. I think that is just ridiculous when others put that in contracts. Typically, you will not need to own commercial rights; it is for my protection against a photo that I took being used for profit without my consent.What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?I understand if life comes up, my policy is one strike. I will not blame you if you need to cancel or reschedule, and I will not charge you the first time. If you end up canceling or trying to reschedule after that, I will have to charge just for the time taken out of my calendar that could have had another photoshoot on the books for me. Canceling the same day, however, at most 2 hours before, will result in a $30 fee everytime.What should I wear?Whatever you feel most confident in! I want to see you in your truest self! If the location needs specific shoes or if the weather seems cold, I will let you know! For my grads, I send over what is required for you to wear for graduation so your photos look the same as how you would on graduation day!
